Initial work for this project was carried out in a previous InnovateUK and DEFRA funded project based at HAU in the form of a series of feasibility studies directed at transforming etc. The project tested the EC technology to remove and recover phosphorus from cattle slurry and was worth £250,000 over an eighteen month time-span.
