In partnership with Harper Adams University, ElentecBio is developing a clean technology solution that transforms dairy slurry from a liability into a set of valuable, targeted nutrient products.
Our advanced filtration and electrocoagulation process separates slurry into:
- Carbon-rich fibre shreds
- Concentrated phosphorus-rich cake
- Concentrated nitrogen-rich liquid fraction
- Clean water suitable for discharge or reuse
This nutrient fractionation enables:
✔ Targeted on-farm nutrient application
✔ Improved compliance with NVZ and water regulations
✔ Reduced slurry storage requirements
✔ Creation of surplus nutrient products for sale
The system is currently installed and being optimised at Harper Adams University dairy farm, where capital and operational performance data are being captured.
